I hope so. I'd like to see him step up as a leader on the defense - gosh knows we need it on that side of the ball. Need someone with some nastiness/don't back down from anybody attitude.

I know we all rip the previous staff for lack of recruiting but lets take a look at the projected defensive starters in 2015:

DE Zach Wood - multiple BCS offers
DT Zelt Minor - multiple BCS offers
DT Mason Gentry - offer from Purdue
DE Robert Seals - offer from Colorado
LB Jonathon Yenga - multiple BCS offers
LB Nick Horton - no BCS offers
DB J.R. Richardson - multiple BCS offers including Michigan
DB Horace Richardson - no BCS offers
DB Darrion Richardson - 8 offers including one from Cincinnati
DB A.J Justice - offer from UVA
DB Jordan Williams - multiple BCS offers

It isn't where it needs to be but there are not a whole lot of no offers or D1AA offer guys. The issue is depth.
