The person who wrote this was Jana Pruet Witson [email protected], @JPRUET). Her boss is Alex Barnishin([email protected]) .
She is an Smu alumna. A 50-something that went back to school in her 40s and got her journalism degree at Meadows. She was already fired once from the morning news as a reporter and they brought her back to work in marketing. (Yes, marketing runs the DMN Facebook page)

I'm so disgusted. An alum thinks this "joke" is funny.

I still can't believe someone in marketing thought this was funny. There is zero defense in her original post. The retraction just makes it look dumb all together.
