Manuel or Sterling should have been on Alford toward the endBecause he was shooting right over Nic for the most part. Just my opinion.

Agree
Re: Manuel or Sterling should have been on Alford at the endI've been "In Larry we trust" all of this year, but that adjustment should of have been made today.
Re: Manuel or Sterling should have been on Alford at the endTwo guys had their hands in his face on the final play.
There was a reason it wasn't going in, and that was it. ![]()
Re: Manuel or Sterling should have been on Alford at the endI agree. I kept thinking from 10 minutes in - since Alford is hitting shots why isn't
Ryan or Sterling guarding him? If ifs and buts were candy and nuts - we'd all have a merry final four.
Re: Manuel or Sterling should have been on Alford at the endMy biggest qualm with Larry: he took four timeouts on the plane with him back to dallas

To clarify, I was not just talking about the last play but about the last 5 minutes of the game. After he went 5 of 5 or 5 of 6 whatever it was from three point land, a change should have been made then or before imo. #HammerDown
Re: Manuel or Sterling should have been on Alford toward theAfter he makes 5 throws, don't you make a change? I would go as far as suggesting you play a box and 1 and have Brown or Manuel faceguard the guy like they've done to Nic Moore so much lately.
I miss Troy Matthews.
Re: Manuel or Sterling should have been on Alford toward theSome of us were calling for the switch by halftime. Having Nic running his [deleted] off avoiding back screens was ridiculous to watch.
Beat the hell out of anybody!
Re: Manuel or Sterling should have been on Alford toward theAll season long we lived on the recipe of putting Ryan on their best shooter. Number 4 was their best athlete, but nic could have hung with him better than with Alford's shooting. This seemed easy and I think Larry blew it on this one. Everyone in stands were calling for it at half time.
Re: Manuel or Sterling should have been on Alford toward theNic could have guarded Hamilton who was not really into the game like Powell and Alford. And PonyKris89 makes a good point in that Nic used a lot of his energy up running around screen to guard Alford which may have affected him on offense.

Re: Manuel or Sterling should have been on Alford toward theRyan was not necessarily on their best shooter. He was on their best offensive player most of the year. Harrison against Tulsa (Woodard was their best shooter.) He covered Cummings against Temple - he was their best player, but not their best shooter. It may have been that Ryan has enough fouls on him that Larry did not make the change. But then Powell would have been guarded by Nic and that would not have been pretty.
Re: Manuel or Sterling should have been on Alford toward the
Calling a timeout with 23 seconds left to ensure inbounding the ball to Nic would have been a good start.
Re: Manuel or Sterling should have been on Alford toward thePowell gets past nic and its two. Alford shoots over nic and its 3. Easy decision.
