Yes, they should have been in the tournament no question. Definitely should have been in over a team like OK. St. Seven from the Big XII was just stupid.

Richmond is cleaning Miami's clock so far.

Murray State dominated their conference until Belmont took them out in their tourney. Meanwhile, the lost to Houston, Portland and Valpo and did not have the quality wins needed to get a bid. Sound familiar? At least we played in a tougher conference last year when we got snubbed

It looks like Richmond has bought into the NIT experience. They have a packed house, the students are going nuts and the team is playing great. As we found out, it can be a great ride.

Richmond is pretty salty. Mavs/Spares time!

Great environment in Richmond.

Miami has tied it up at 55-55 with 1:17 left.

What a comeback by Miami/choke job by Richmond...

Hurricanes win 63-61.

Two silly fragrant fouls in the second half of Stanford-Vanderbilt - one on each team. Both correct by the book though.

Vanderbilt on a nice run and hanging with Stanford. Cardinal up 57-53 with 8 minutes left.

That Vanderbilt kid took one of the hardest hits I've seen in a while. Not intentional, but pretty violent. I missed the first one.

Yeah - that poor kid isn't going to know which way is up for a while.

You hate to see a player get punished for going hard to the basket, but hopefully over time the rule will keep players from leading with their elbows...

Surprisingly, not the smartest basketball down the stretch with these two teams...

Stanford up 75-70 with 1:10 left.

Stanford defeats Vanderbilt 78-75 and joins Miami in the semifinals.

Temple hosts Louisiana Tech in the late game tomorrow night.

It stinks that each team committed fragrant fouls
