With Vick gone, who are our top targets for 2016?

I think that picture will get cleared up quickly in the next month. Just give it a few weeks, evaluations going on heavy right now.

Pipe dreams include two local bigs - Marques Bolden (DeSoto) & Schinder Herard (Plano), and the biggest pipe dream is Terrence Ferguson, a guy on the level of Eman. A one and done stud. Currently ranked #5 in the class. He was at Moody for at least two games last season. I heard he is Shaka's #1 target.

Ferguson is a freak athlete. Has some work to put in on the court and refining skills, but absolute freak of nature when it comes to athleticism. Serious ups.

Of the elite prospects, we've also offered Jarrett Allen out of Austin. I think he was pretty high on us at one point but I haven't heard much lately. He also has offers from Kansas, Indiana UT, ND nd UCLA.

I haven't seen him in nearly a year and a half live, so that is great if he has developed that aspect. He wasn't much of a shooter prior.

I've seen him probably five times and each time he shot well from deep range. I think Scout's report is spot on.

STRENGTHS
3-Point Range
Athleticism
Size for Position
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
Ability to Create
Ballhandling
Strength
Ferguson is very three-point reliant. He lacks consistent offensive balance, a deficiency he must improve over the next couple years. But despite that, his tools are easy to recognize. In addition to a jumper that can become scorching hot from deep, he's a very good athlete. With his quickness and length, he should be able to defend shooting guards or wing forwards at the next level. He simply needs to get stronger and improve his ball handling.

I'd agree. And it was tough to get a good read on his shooting abilities when he's playing along Mudiay too. Like I said, didn't see him last winter. But yes, his ball handling was poor for a 5* guard.
