Re: Free Baylor Game Tickets.I should have 3 extra tickets not counting the 2 I donate, as I stroll the Blvd. I am not going to give or promise them to anyone in advance. Find me at the game and if I have any left someone can have one, two, or three.

Re: Free Baylor Game Tickets.
But see that's different if you pay to travel - in a sense your contributing to attendance. Everyone will want to comp your ticket If you don't want to pay $60 for one single ticket and you live across the street from SMU - yet you want to cream your self every time someone offers quality tickets for free .... 95% of all SMU alum are not on board so this is nothing new the rest are all awesome Hey I even shamed what's his name into buying season tickets I'll be glad when I get priced out and I'm sitting in the nosebleed if it ever happens Last edited by One Trick Pony on Tue Aug 25, 2015 5:34 pm, edited 3 times in total.
Re: Free Baylor Game Tickets. The key will be getting more alumni to come back to SMU, to give and buy season tickets. OTP is right not many are really on board and it really is on SMU.

Re: Free Baylor Game Tickets.
I've been a season ticket holder since Ford opened and going to games religiously since 1971 or 1972 when I was five or six years old. And since I've been a season ticket holder, I've always bought more tickets than I needed and have always given those extras to pony fans who needed them -- usually young alums who would not have otherwise gone to games. I shouldn't have to say this in a public forum, but it's been tough financially of late. Let me make one thing clear to you, pal. I will not EVER ask for charity. I do not appreciate the label. At all. Totally uncalled for and not cool. Sucks that I have to defend myself against name calling by a supposed fellow pony fan.
Re: Free Baylor Game Tickets.
Don't read too much into it. Even if what he had said is true there's nothing wrong with taking someone's extra tickets and it doesn't make you less of a supporter to do so. As long as the tickets are going to fellow fans trying to support the team the who gives a Damn whether or not the receiver of the tickets is "mooching". Last I checked this school didn't have enough fans in stands to give a Damn about which ones paid for the tickets with their own money
Re: Free Baylor Game Tickets.Holy crap...handbags at 10 paces. I would love to go to a game or two...but am stuck on the east coast and know that if I even float a trip I will have to bring the entire family down...and 4 round trip tickets are expensive (not to sound like I hate being around my wife and kids...mind you...not really a good way to throw that out there...oh well!). I will still try to get to Annapolis for the Navy game and mooch tix off some retired Admiral...hope that doesn't offend anyone!
