Why? We'd get our assess handed to us by most of them and Rice wouldn't draw anybody. As of right now we need to be playing the UNTs of college football so we can get to a bowl game. When we are better I agree but getting blown out isn't going to help.
The point is for SMU to be better and beat them, not get blown out.
We aren't there yet. No point in playing them if we are going to get embarrassed. I'm fine with playing 1 a year but our non conference schedule shouldn't be that difficult. We aren't playing for championships. We are playing for bowl games.

If they get 12k and we get 18k, that is even more money. Until we consistently sell out because of our product, we need games like this. I'm confident our fans will handle them volume wise in the first half...and our team will handle their fans for most of the game by controlling the game.

The other thing is our fans drink a LOT of beer. So you should make some good dough on that as well win or lose.
Yes, you will double our beer sales from last week with half of the number that the baptists brought. Thank you in advance for coming to the boulevard and populating the beer lines.

Probably been reported previously on this board, but what is the typical payoff for a UNT to visit SMU? (This is not a dig at the Denton school but I assume that a Baylor or TCU, etc., gets more and probably AAC schools.) And do those who operate concessions pay a flat fee or does some account at SMU get a percentage?
Usually concessionaires submit bids for concession service. School will then receive a percentage of sales. That is based on my experience working for the Texas Rangers 25 years ago. I would assume it has not changed that much since

that's student ticket's only. NTSU has a lot bigger allotment than 3,000. They've sold at least 5,000 tickets from their allotment in Denton. Quite frankly I've heard differing accounts as to whether that includes or is in addition to the student allotment.
Love the challenge in that video. Stop getting all pissy when someone tells the truth and do something about it. Respond to the Challenge and quit waiting for SMU to win 9 games in 2018. NTSU won what 3 or 4 games last year
Good job athletic department

I'm a STH, I give to MC and I travel to in state away games. I'm the last person that anyone should question when it comes to committment to the program.
