So, he thinks his best friend is going to coach him up to the NBA? BWAAAAHHAAAAAA! Like I said, seems like an impulse decision.

Hurley is a good coach.

Top 1% good? Not yet, not by a long shot. Maybe someday but not yet. Again, 1 year with Coach Brown is better than 4 with 99% percent of any current active coach.

Didnt see it. No new RC, recruiting effort seems disjointed/disorganized. Dropping recruits we spent valuable effort on last second. Just don't think the NCAA sanctions is the issue with the 2016 class. 2015? Yes

Absolutely 100%. Other schools used it against us in last year's class and are currently using it against us in this class. Losing Ulric definitely hurt but KT is a helluva recruiter. We are pretty much stuck until the penalty comes down.

I hope you are right. However the sanctions would have little affect to those joining the 2016 class.

How so? What if we have a post-season ban. You don't think other coaches aren't telling recruits that?

Post season ban would be over before he got here. Unless that caused a domino affect that destroyed our APR because of people leaving early

Only if it's a one year ban. What if recruits are being told we'll get a two year ban, that means elite 2016 recruits wouldn't be eligible for the post-season their freshman year at SMU.

That said, I don't believe there's anyway we get a post-season ban but our target recruits will be told this by other schools until the NCAA announces the penalty.

I agree. I cant imagine they would give us a ban equal to Syracuse. They would have to hammer UNC if they gave us one

Ouch; still have room for a big or two in the 2016-2017 season rotation
