I do not know if Nlemchi will be back but he was in the sideline Friday night in uniform but no pads.

We can have him wear the honorary Herkie Herkimer jersey this year

Last I heard (recently through the grapevine) was that KC is well ahead of schedule in his rehab and wants to return by the end of this year. I know he wants to play. My understanding is that we won't know about the grant of a medical until it is applied for after this season.

Biggest needs on are defense. DLs and DBs specifically.

Of course, would love an "every down" RB but I really liked what I saw out of our freshmen Jones and West (although small, Jones is much stronger than he looks it seems). They will get bigger and stronger over time for sure. Will be interesting to see how Nlemchi fits in next year. I've always been very high on him, but he hasn't found a way to stay on the field for a full season consistently (maybe because I'm "high" on him). See what I did there?

It's kind of like everybody being very high on KF.

Myles Duke had a 38 yard reverse TD run as Goose Creek beat Little Cypress Mauriceville

2 carries for 45 yards
1 catch for 5 yards

Looks like team has gone to new running QB-only a handful of passes

no dedicated video of Myles Duke from last week but the first 3 plays in this team video show his 38 yard reverse TD run. Great athlete. Goose Creek Memorial was off this week. I still think Duke could potentially play on the offensive side of the ball but again they may not have the QB to get him the ball. Love his athleticism and he's another with a lot more size than in the Run N Shoot days

Looks like a Courtland Sutton starter kit. Keep him on offense.

Myles Duke had a 46 yard TD reception and caught 2 passes for 50 yards

Goose Creek starting QB completed only 5 passes. Backup completed 6. They blew an early lead to Beaumont Central and got shut down in second half. Something like 37-21

I'd love to see what Duke and Benson could do in a strong passing offense-he's made some big plays just not enough opportunities

here's Myles Duke's 46 yard catch (and mostly run) against Beaumont Central last weekend. Pretty nifty

Myles Duke Midseason Highlites. Although he was expected to play Safety or Star I think his senior move to WR (from QB) may give SMU the option to keep him on offense at Receiver

He might be my favorite recruit in this class other than Todora.
