Yes. He hurt his ankle just after he was picked up by the NBA team. One injury that will not hurt us.

Hey if we can get Yannick to finish his degree that would give us some room to improve our low APR. Is he back in school?

I do not think it matters on the APR if they go pro at any level does it if they are in good standing. Or is that just if they leave with eligibility remaining?

I thought so too but people on the recruiting services keep saying we lost an APR point because he didn't graduate. The NCAA regulation was inconclusive. But you can definitely supplement your APR score if a former player comes back and earns his degree

I guessing it is because his eligibility was spent along with not graduating. That would make sense.

Sidenote: I learned this week that the great Quinton Ross is back at SMU taking a few classes to complete his degree. I hadn't realized he didn't graduate. Good for him.

How did I find out? I was on campus on Thursday for the 100th celebration, and found his wallet on the ground while walking to the main quad from my parking spot near sorority park. Was able to track him down and return it the same day.
