unless he lives in Texas or is a top 100 recruit, don't expect much attention from this staff. i don't think nepotism is really something their going to play into for nostalgia sake.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

I don't believe so. Ben Line is a sophomore at Robert Morris.

I hope that some of the kids were held out of last week's game as a precaution for getting them ready for conference, but I guess we will find out for sure this weekend.
I'd like to see Shaq moved back to Safety or even corner with all of the injures we have seen back there.

If the roster is in need of a fullback in 2 years it wouldn't shock me to get a call. Line, p. Isn't his brother but they have incredible fullback genes

The star was playing more in coverage this week imo, so he was in the secondary. Run oriented teams the star plays more LB, pass oriented teams the star plays more DB. If Kemp starts this week the star will play more in the secondary as a safety anyway.

Regardless of where the Star is, he needs to make plays and show up all over the field. Regardless, if you are playing with 2 LBs who are not physical you can't afford for the Star to not be physical.

True but you can't afford for them not to be able to cover against a passing teams either. Just have to find a player that can do both.

somebody said Chauncey Briggs played some in the game. I don't see him listed in the participation chart. We started two redshirt freshmen at Left Tackle and Left Guard, Pursley and Natour. That is practically unheard of. So, I think the offense can play better/more consistent if Briggs is back this week to anchor the left side. And getting Zach Wood back on D would be very helpful up the middle.

Pursley played okay and did not have any penalties.

Hoop Fan. How is the attitude of the players? Are they still keeping their spirits up? Coach is doing a lot of evaluating and I would hate for the young men to go negative if the wins do not come right away. The future looks bright as long as they remain positive.

well, I can't speak for very many. And when I say not very many, I mean hardly any. But what i would say is there aren't really bad apples in this bunch, so to a man I think they feel like they let alot of people down and lost some fans in the process, which is a shame. I'm sure they were a little embarrassed on campus today. They had a long hard workout and day at the facility yesterday, with lots of 'truth'. Kids are resilient though and as the week goes on, i think the coaches will pick these guys up and have them ready to go.

Lots of mistakes and lacking on ability in some areas but the effort has been there from start to finish. There is no reason for embarrassment. I just want to keep seeing the continuous effort.
