With the slow playing by the school on facilities and the dismal crowds the last two games along with 12K for the rest of the home games, he can't be real happy.

He ain't going anywhere, so it's neither sad nor true.

Herman is definitely going somewhere though.

HCCM interested in South Carolina job???

Agree, we're safe until we have 30,000 fans at nearly every game and have won 8 or 9 games in a season. In two years we'll likely be there. Then he's off to a better situation in the ACC or the SEC, unless we PonyUp more $$$ to keep him.

Yes, and by the way SMU just landed another 3 star recruit that had a UH offer, so enjoy your short lived success commuter boy.

I think Chad needs to do better than 1-11 before he gets hired away. Herman will be gone after this year

Awesome! With that attendance requirement, Morris will be here for the next 20 years.

We won't be at 30,000 per game in two years or even 25,000 per game for that matter.

HCCM interested in South Carolina job???

Postby mrydel » Sat Oct 17, 2015 10:47 am

Can anyone on this board cite any example of lies about facilities. I talked first hand with Hart about the IPF and have a feeling we are still on the same time line. I have not spoken to Morris so I do not know what he may have been told. How about those proclaiming lies let us know what these lies are from your first hand knowledge.

I don't think they are lies, just untruths.

They aren't lies-SMU alumni haven't funded the huge cost of a very ambitious project yet. The term "lie" has a definite meaning a knowing misrepresentation by a speaker at the time the statement was made

Nobody including yourself has first-hand knowledge because you weren't there for Hart's conversations with Morris. But we can see how the tone of original statements by coaches made it seem like groundbreaking was imminent, but now we learn that we aren't even close to having it. It is questionable whether it could get designed and built before the end of Morris' contract.

Waiting on Pony Snob to write that $40M check so that we can break ground on the facility that Morris wants.

The IPF will get done. The price tag being thrown out right now is preposterous. They've been told to re-evaluate what is needed and will reconvene after the season.
Back off Warchild seriously.
