The only game that matters to Yalies will be played under on Saturday in the historic Yale Bowl under the lights for the first time ever. I just hope SMU gives them a return game next year. Btw - According to my Harvard buddy, Yale is one of the better Ivy League BB programs.

They should not be taken lightly. We should win, but they are better than what may at first seem.

They would have won the Ivy league conference championship if they had not lost the last game of the year which sent them onto a one game playoff with Harvard for the championship. Harvard won that game. So they are a pretty good team.

Key to defeating Yalies is to take them out of their 'safe spaces', then they crumble like a house of cards.

Like when they wander off campus into greater New Haven?

Very true. Off campus, there are some very scary areas. When I lived in NH, Yale students seemed to get mugged every week at a certain ATM near campus. (Why they kept going to that ATM -> I have no idea.)

I've heard that Yale is on a quest to buy all the property in the central part of New Haven to make it actually be a nice place.

Downtown New Haven isn't that bad, but it's no Park cities either. The school bought a lot of property quite a few years ago, I think to expand undergrad dorms/enrollment.
The team is pretty good and shoots a lot of threes as others have mentioned. Had a strong RPI most of last year and probably about as good as Stanford.
