Elandon Roberts is a stud. We have to get a few playmakers like him on our defense.

BTW, I think Pony Boss and Rebel10 are the same person.

My eyes and common sense. If there is expansion we aren't on the radar and they are one of the most attractive options in the market.

You don't need sources to see that.

UH sold out their stadium with season tickets for 2 years during Case Kennum time period-small stadium but they have a much higher base to make the jump to P5 that SMU may never have. All they needed was a quality football stadium as I've said for years. Yes they had attendance issues during their vagabond year when stadium was being built-big deal. Again it doesn't matter that they have a large student body and SMU is a poor little private school. All that matters is that they are getting close to a P5 resume while SMU has 4-5,000 show for its games. There is no affirmative action program for small private schools seeking P5 membership. SMU like TCU must overachieve to have a chance at a P5-there is no discernable signs that we have even started to build a fan base

You know things are going badly for Navy when they have 264 passing yards

Don't we still have better facilities than Rice?

Its always been about overachieving, and SMU is in a better position to do so than a lot of those schools people think are a lock to a P5 bid.

When is that going to happen? One "magical" season isn't going to vault SMU to the P5 world.

Ward didn't play (except emergency at the end when 3rd string QB got hurt. 2nd string QB hurt early in season).
Roberts got ejected early for targeting.
Farrow got hurt mid-game so we were on 3rd string RB (2nd string RB hurt earlier in season). Used DB as RB today.
3 OL out so 3 freshmen playing including a converted DL. Today was the first time this season we had the same starting OL for 2 games in a row
4 TOs

And yet we still had a chance to win near the end.

No joke, if recruiting keeps up it could be two years from now.

There will be no more realignment for a long time. This last round was an anomaly which saw the Big East, a hoops conference, die out. Big 12 will not expand until 2025 when their contracts expire. I think the American will keep improving and this will be the home for these 12 teams for at least 10-15 years so get used to it. The American is what the Big East could never be, a solid football conference that also plays some good basketball. That being said, I do think contracts for AAC will be renegotiated in 2018 to get our teams more cash, so that could go up to 10m or so per team which should be good for a semi power conference. SMU needs to work on winning games, building up championships like the basketball team (and other sports) is doing and recruiting top talent. Even the "basketball schools" UConn, Temple and Memphis are doing well in FB, in fact their football teams are better than their basketball teams for Mem and Temple! Oh and SMU will never be a basketball school. It's football that the investment needs to be focused into if you're the AD.

Western Michigan 35-24 over Toledo with the ball at 2:30 left. If they lose Temple or UH are assured major bowl-not sure about USF if they were to sneak in
