Current STUDent wrote:I know nothing about recruiting, but I do know that if we want to become a resident of the Top 25 we don't need 5'10 WR's who have zero offers from Div 1a schools. I don't know anything about this kid, but based solely on what information is posted, we should pass. If we are really interested like the kid claims, this might indicate a deeper problem with this recruiting class and we all might want to push the panic button.

Yeah, because Texas Tech has really sucked doing exactly that.

The difference with Tech is that the receivers are at least fast. We recruit the 5'10" possession receiver that can almost break a 4.7 40 only in Mexico City with a 20 mph wind at their back.

under the category

"Once Again You Don't Know What you are Talking About":

Tech's leading receivers in order this year are:

1.Robert Johnson 6-2, 202

2.Jarrett Hicks 6-3, 210

3. Joel Filani 6-3, 222

4. Amendolo 5-10, 185

5. Oluduma 6-5, 259

All received multiple Division 1A offers and the only small receiver is Amendola who was a Texas Top 80 or better. This 3A kid you are comparing these guys to has even gotten a Division 1A or 1AA offer or even an official visit-only Division II offers. He ain't a legitimate prospect.

Stallion has spoken, so no need to ask any more questions.

Chase - 6'4 205
Pellerin - 6'3 190
Sledge - 5'11 190
Foster - 5'11 200
Warren - 5'7 180
Kennedy - 6'5 265

We have some pretty good receivers. We all know that next year is about QB play and getting better.

No big promise for next year but some good progress this year.

But only those that want to see it can.
