AAC vs. other conferences

Postby LA_Mustang » Tue Dec 01, 2015 10:08 am

I thought this was interesting. My biggest takeaway is our conference struggles against the offensive-minded conferences of the Big 12 & PAC 12.

American Athletic records against other conferences

TEAM G W L T WIN% PFPG PAPG
MAC 10 9 1 0 90.0 33.6 22.0
Sun Belt 4 3 1 0 75.0 39.5 20.5
Conference USA 14 8 6 0 57.1 30.3 22.2
Mountain West 6 3 3 0 50.0 34.8 29.7
ACC 21 8 13 0 38.1 26.2 35.8
SEC 16 5 11 0 31.3 20.7 26.9
Independents 18 5 13 0 27.8 25.9 32.0
Big 10 13 3 10 0 23.1 20.2 27.8
Big 12 10 2 8 0 20.0 25.0 47.1
PAC 12 2 0 2 0 0.0 21.0 36.5

CUSA 3-1
ACC 4-3
B1G 1-1

Think of it this way- We contributed to making more of our conference mates bowl eligible, hence more revenue!
