Sometime between when I finished high school and now, parents stopped pointing the finger at kids for doing things wrong, and started pointing them at teachers, administrators, and coaches when their own kids did things wrong.
I coach wrestling in my spare time and my school just fired a volleyball coach that won 20 league titles, 16 section titles, and 5 state championships in 21years and is an alum at the high school, because a parent complained she was being too [deleted] their daughter. She had nearly a dozen players go on to play in the Olympics. She was a mentor for many coaches of all sports at the school. And she got [deleted] canned because of a whiny brat that didn't like doing suicides for mouthing off and her pathetic parents who threatened the school.
Don't blame the kids, blame the participation trophy loving, safe space, bubble wrap parents that teach their kids that they are the center of the world and the pansy axx administrators and teachers who enable the whole damn thing.
