I was looking forward to seeing him play this year, but I guess looking at the big picture for both him and the team, this makes sense.

If we end up playing in some kind of overseas exhibition or real tournament in lieu of the NCAA tournament, could he play in that without affecting his eligibility timing?

And, since he transferred mid year and sat out his year some if us (me) thought his date of eligibility meant he could play 2.5 seasons beginning now.

If Semi were to opt for grad school does he have to play at another school for his final year of eligibility? It'd be great to have him for three full years here.

Semi is much like Jarrey and Sterling in that he can play multiple positions, anywhere from the 2-4. Extremely athletic, good outside shooter, good rebounder and solid on defense. Weaknesses - he not the greatest at creating his own shot and can be sloppy with his dribble.

Sounds like Ben Moore with a better outside touch.
