I really don't think enough can be said about the way Tolbert is playing. He is a man amoung boys. I'm really glad for him he had a great game against Michigan in front of the NBA scouts. There's no reason he can't be a role player in the NBA.

JT looks a cut above everyone on the court and his physicality is truly impressive. Why oh why did he squander years in Lubbock?

Looking for another big night out of him against Hampton.

he has a weakness in his game-has difficulty scoring more than 3 feet from basket. Nic, Ben, and Sterling just know when and where to get him the ball. I remember posting that 10 minute highlite of just about every basket he made at Texas Tech and its pretty obvious he is an inside banger but has limited range. I think he hit 10 Free Throws tonite though

Yep - 10 for 10 on his free pitches tonight. Awesome.

He really should have probably 10 more points tonight because of uncharacteristic layup and dunk misses.

Also can't believe no one is talking about his put back slam off of his own miss. That was sick!

We often get to the games really early, shocking for an SMU fan, but I can remember watching him last year before the teams came out and he actually practiced shooting from 3-pt range and was pretty accurate. I even commented to my wife that I thought he might be a decent threat from there.
