yeah Ward was hurt very early in 20-17 loss to UCONN-should have gone undefeated

Actually Ward got hurt the week before and didn't start. Postma, UH's 3rd string QB got hurt late in the 4th and Ward played a few plays to end the game.

Did Chad coach Baker Mayfield? He left Lake Travis in 2009 and I don't believe Mayfield graduated until 2013 or when he was on the varsity squad at Lake Travis.

Anybody notice the Big XII hasn't won a significant bowl this year yet, or even had a decent showing?

Only Baylor managed to beat UNC.
OSU just got hammered by Ole Miss.
OU got blown out by Clemson.
Tech run over by LSU.
Kansas State plays tomorrow against Arky and they're underdogs. Same for WVU playing Arizona State.
TCU has already managed to humiliate themselves and they haven't even kicked off yet.

Big XII probably won't have a team in the top 10 this year. SEC is beating the heck out of everybody again with only a couple of exceptions. Big 10 has a couple of wins but is struggling as a whole. Pac 12 doing very well.
