Why do we need separate weight rooms for football and basketball?

Recruiting for one. Most that have the up to date practice facilities for their hoops team have separate weight rooms. In fact, from my understanding the football team will be getting a separate weigh room that they don't have to share with the other sports like soccer etc when the IPF is built.

Oh. Well does the women's basketball team use the Crum weight room or do they have memberships at Lifetime Fitness across Central Expy?
