I did use that term, but it was in reference to the person in the AAC announcing on the PA system.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

I'm the biggest Mavs fan alive but that guy almost makes me not want to go to games. He is beyond terrible. All he does is yell at the crowd.

Well I went to UConn and I do the Pony Ears (just not when they're playing the Huskies).

He almost makes me not even want to watch them on TV - the yelling comes thru to the broadcast. I cannot imagine being yelled at for 48 minutes like that. He tries to manufacture crowd excitement and it just seems fake. He really really bugs the [deleted] out of me.
