Seriously. Stop using Ken Pom as a true measuring device. Nothing wrong with looking at it, but please stop acting as if it is a true all encompassing measurement of a team.

They are a good team but besides Briham they don't much size at all. That will hurt them if they get in the tournament.

It didn't hurt them in 2014. Of course, they had a couple of guards named Shabazz and Boatright that helped a lil....

say what you want about UConn, but from where I sat, they controlled that game last night from wire to wire. Yes, it was close and very competitive, but every time we challenged, they responded. They took away the paint and dogged Nic all night. I was hopeful Shake would step up and look for more shots because we need someone to take the pressure off of Nic.

A positive take away form last night is that our team held their own against a good team playing well, all WITHOUT Nic being dominant. That is bullish for next year.

I'm not sure what's worse, the OPs take, or his screen name.

Thought the same thing - without Nic and with very little from MK or Jordan. The disappointment of last night for THIS year is/was real, but that game actually made me MORE bullish about next year with what we have coming back and what we're adding (that we know of at this point).

Nice game last night guys. I have a ton of respect for your basketball program and also the fans after lurking your board for awhile. Larry Brown is a class act and mentor to our coach (Kevin Ollie), and I hate how the media slanders him. Trust me no one empathizes with your NCAA bs more than UConn fans do. We were retroactively banned from the 2013 tournament and the injustice still bothers me to this day. You know what happened in 2014? We won the whole f**king thing. Hoping the basketball Gods do the same for you next year (just not against us please).

Thanks for the kind sentiments. We certainly respect your team, but we hope to even things up when you visit Moody. 8)
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
