Chad obviously wants one to two bodybag games per year on the schedule, and this looks like it will one of them for 2021 (I'm including UNT as a BB in this FYI).
As long as the other two non conf games are TCU and another ex-SWC or P5 member then I'm fine.

Have the top brass not heard that Texas Wesleyan is starting a football team next year? By the early 2020's they could be tough. (And remember that Incarnate Word has been elevated to Baylor's schedule. They're another possibility.)

There is a good thing resulting from such scheduling. At least we can start the season of tailgating on the beautiful Vard. Now there is no excuse for leaving the tailgate.

Think I'd rather stay positive about the hoops program where I can get neighbors friends and family to show up

Everyone schedules FCS teams. It should be done quietly and no more than one year in advance.

Cool purple uni's?

New stadium?.....http://www.acusports.com/news/2016/2/17 ... 65620.aspx

New stadium seats 12,000. "Including the $37 million raised for these Athletic facility enhancements, funds raised for the Vision in Action Initiative so far total more than $82 million, surpassing the original $75 million goal and making it the third largest campaign, dollar-wise, in ACU's history." Not exactly the $1Bn campaign that SMU just finished. 45% for athletics. They made the commitment to go the Southland Conference so it makes sense. Lamar's seats 16K and SFA seats 14,575 plus seats on the grass.

Seems like you'd want to schedule Sam Houston or SFA over ACU but the Wildcats have a smaller fan base and would be less of a threat as if that should matter.

SFA is harder to schedule. They are in demand, so to speak.
