Re: Ted KapitaI'm glad we care enough about a sport to have to worry.
Re: Ted Kapita
That's a helluva welcome there. BTW, how much longer does Shaka Smart have? SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four

Re: Ted Kapita
It's a valid concern due to the test scores but the test score issues may have been due to the language difference, who knows. We'll see, but definitely glad to have him and hope he does very well in the classroom (and not just for basketball but for himself). #HammerDown
Re: Ted KapitaThis is a very big thing. the only true center at this point. we could use one more - but at least this gives us a shot with a line up that will roll in Ben M, Aussie, Dukie and Tedenski
One more real inside post would give us a ton of flexibility with Aussie and Dukie.
Re: Ted KapitaWe need a stop gap PG more than we need another big. Jarrey can give minutes, 2-4. Ultimately, find another ball handler that offers a change of pace to shake.
Re: Ted KapitaShake Tom jarrey.. And let me see Ben run point
Re: Ted Kapita
McDowell? Wilson? Am i missing something here? Give me Bruno. Party at The Wopper!
Re: Ted Kapita
Next year...Trae Young. Keep the OK connection rolling. Party at The Wopper!
Re: Ted KapitaChange of pace, yes. Like Nic, no. A kid like Weathers is 6'2. I'd think Wilson is off the ball mostly to start. Kid can really shoot, but our only real weakness may be guard speed w/the ball and kids who can get their own looks at anytime. Weathers addresses that. don't get me wrong, I love Bruno, possibly more than Kapita, but 3 in one cycle is hoarding and gonna cause a transfer. Jarrey has been battling, so he's your utile wing and big.
Re: Ted Kapita
Trae Young would be nice. Going to be a battle to get him. #HammerDown
Re: Ted KapitaWhile we are dreaming about 2017 PGs go ahead and put Tre Duval in the mix. He's from Delaware but transferred to Advanced Prep in Dallas last year. #1 PG in the class. He's Mudiay with more of an offensive game. I think he has already been to a game or two at Moody. LB would make him the first pick in the 2018 draft. I'm sure hoopmanx is familiar as I believe Maryland is currently in the lead. Very unlikely he ends up at SMU but it's fun to think about...watch this and you'll see why.

Re: Ted KapitaHuge get! This really is starting to look like a program. Thank you Larry and everyone that made your coming here possible!
Re: Ted KapitaIt really is amazing to see us in the mix for players that have Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, and UCLA as options and still have strong interest in us. Unthinkable only 5 years ago.
Re: Ted KapitaOh my gosh! A BEAST is on the way - I'm giddy!
