Re: Boston
Boston people love their bars and Fenway is surrounded by them. You'll have no problem finding a bar. For food and a little more upscale dining, Back Bay area (it's a bit of a walk) is very nice. Indeed, I won my wife's heart by taking her to http://abeandlouies.com/ for our 2nd date. Do unto others before they do unto you!!
Re: BostonYeah, if the Sox are out of town - which I assume they are if there are concerts at Fenway - the bars around the park will be just awesome.
Jealous - not of the concerts, but of visiting Boston... Oh man Abe & Louie's what a great restaurant!!!!! Not that bad of a walk from Fenway at all. If you have time very few experiences in the US match heading to the North End for Italian. Shake It Off Moody
Re: BostonWear Yankees gear head to toe and scream the Pats suck
Re: BostonI'm staying in Back Bay. I'm going to try Abe & Louie's tomorrow. Given that my name is The same as the HOF left fielder for the Sox, reservations shouldn't be a problem.

Re: BostonBrunch at Abe & Louie's tomorrow. In the North End for happy hour currently. One Pearl Jam show down, one to go tomorrow.

Re: BostonPearl Jam? Did I time warp 25 years into the past?
Re: BostonThat would have been their first year, so no. Unless you're referring to their Lollapalooza show in September 1991 in Dallas. In which case, yes.

Re: Boston
Saw that the set list for the Friday show had something like 32 songs on it. Peruna is my mascot!

1500 just became 1499. Pony up!
Re: BostonKeep the suggestions coming please. We will be in the area next week to visit our son. I did a [deleted] poor job of finding a bar home in Boston and I will be there a lot over the next five years, so help a brotha out by recommending a good bar home. I want to be like Norm, but not at Cheers.
