As I have always said, whatever the TV suits want is what will be done. I think a big part of this is being driven by of all people WV who is very upset that they are alone in the mountains. On the other hand you have Okies in the conference and I'd figure they'd be right at home.

If that is the case, they should simply trade places with UH. That would make UH and both conferences happy.

WV in the AAC would have Cincy, Memphis, ECU and UConn nearby

Forgot temple. Yeah. WV should go there. Bring SMU and UH in and go back west and get BYU, Boise St and Colorado State.

Ah yes. WV could join that long list of P5 schools leaving to join G5 in order to enjoy that relief of not having to deal with those millions of dollars, higher caliber play, and national recognition.

It wouldn't be voluntary...remember SMU was among 4 schools to join the g5 ranks in the 90s and later on the Big east you had 3 schools join the g5 too.

Name one school that has been involuntarily kicked out of a P5 conference. And do not count Temple which was before the current format existed.

when all is said and done, we might see whether ESPN & FOX are controlling realignment. Would anyone be shocked if in the end, Texas and OU join the PAC along with TTech and OSU leaving the other 6 Big XII members behind?

I never said it would make West Virginia happy, but they are not happy now so who cares.

Tech and OSU will be left behind. There will be no more "package deals" in the next round.
