have to agree on that point; coach wants his team to be fighters but also appears to be worried about their psyche because it appears we just don't match up well with Memphis

Even Hacksaw mentioned how great the crowd on the Boulevard was. That's the best thing we have going for us right now, i.e., our pregame environment. Always strong at Homecoming.

At this point and after having to give Memphis the ball to start the 2nd half, I just hope we can outscore them in 2nd half, avoid another 63 point defeat and salvage a little bit of dignity. These guys have won 4 games and 2 home games already this year and that, quite frankly, is more than I expected from them. Brutal home schedule this year and it won't get any easier the rest of this season.

75 yard 2 play drive
5 yard 2 play drive
99 yard kickoff return
20 yard 1 play drive...

After all of that they stI'll have a chance to make this a game but two punts in 4th down territory on very manageable 4th downs..

that's one of those chicken vs egg questions, isn't it? Guys are coming off 2 good wins and we can't draw 20k for a Homecoming game in good weather? Sounds kind of familiar, doesn't it? I wonder if everyone will bash Chad for bailing if/when he does? I just hope nobody associated with the team quits because we appear to have laid another egg. Thankfully, I do believe this cioaching staff and team is more resilient and committed than our fans
