OK - Coach Morris and the team has been working their tails off to improve this program, and SMU fans are the big beneficiaries. I've had more fun this year than the last four years combined - and we aren't even close to being there yet.

How about we do the team and ourselves a favor, and talk up this game Saturday to all we know, especially other SMU fans? I know its not going to be packed, but it would be nice to not be embarrassing.

Wear your gear around this week. If you don't have any drop by the Mockingbird bookstore and get some - there is good stuff there.

The soft smile of losers, also know as "I just go the BLVD, not the game....hah hah isn't that funny?"... has also got to get stamped out around here pretty soon. When you hear that now stale line, don't laugh at it - challenge them. Let them know they will miss out on the best part of all they do is stand and drink. The BLVD is only half the fun - the other half is in the stadium. The games are fun because we score and we win. If you have to have a beer - there are plenty in there also.

Time to start training our fan base to win.

I'm on board and will be there Saturday, but I doubt the ECU win completely erased the memories of the Memphis game for a lot of casual/on the fence fans. The team and coaching staff need to continue expressing gratitude to the season ticket holders and consistent fans.

Want more people off the boulevard and in the stadium? Let's try to at least be more competitive against USF and Navy than we were against Memphis.

Our flight leaves LGA at 9 so we will have plenty of time to pick up the animals, get home, take a nap if we need it, and then head to the game. Praying for a Pony Trifecta this weekend.
