Let's be honest, USC was better then a 11 seed. And we were better than a 6 seed. Never should have faced them in the first round or Baylor in the second round.

We can say that all we want - and it is undeniably true - but that was our game to lose.

True enough but we should have had an easier opponent in the first round. 11th ranked team and we get this tough of a first round game-ridiculous.

It certainly seemed that way that the NCAA jackals wanted it this way.

It will be awhile before I get over this one. Anyone have a spare trash can? Mine's full.
Ben and Sterling, still warriors in my book. Proud how far they've brought the program.
Anyone interest in a Group Hug? I find it helps.
Now back to the Dry Heaves.

Our game to lose? It was going to be a close game not our game to lose.

Agree to disagree. I think we were the better team. We had control of the game and let them take it away. Our game to lose.

Like someone said, you beat who you play. Do you think Baylor, Duke or Nova would have been easier?
Look, for the most part, the average Ponyfan is a middle-aged white guy whose athletic career peaked 10-25 years ago, if ever. We put so much in a collection of 20-year olds. We live and die by what they do between the lines. When they win, we all celebrate. When they, we get this feeling.
67 teams are ultimately going to feel like this. I'm proud of the 30 games we did win.
I'm grabbing a drink now. See you boys and girls in August.

As you age, I think you appreciate all the blessings you've enjoyed in life and this year's SMU basketball season was another one of them for me. In the post death penalty era, I often wondered whether I would ever see a packed Moody again, SMU WINNING conference championships and earning invites to the dance. I just hope we can keep this thing going in the right direction and play in the post season year after year. Getting back to the field of 68 will be a challenge next year
