DT Terrance Newman Commits

Post by JoeKidd »

Just saw we had a new commitment from a DT out of Duncanville. Looks strong and quick....not sure about size potential as he is listed at 5'11", but already 280 lbs.

Watched his tape. Loves to put the hit on. And if he gets a hand on you.... you don't get away.
Always running to the ball.
LOVE IT.
Need more Gang Tacklers.

I made up the speed and dancing stuff:-)

A bit like a Russell Maryland starter kit. I like!

I'm thinking Carter or Ball.

Dude is quick! Stays nice and low, too. Partly because he's not tall, but he looks like he plays low and chases well.
Class looks impressive so far.

Don't remember the kid's name but there was a guy we offered years ago who went to UNT and turned out to be a pretty good nose tackle. Didn't get many offers because he was only 5'10". Newman reminds me of that guy...just can't remember his name.

I was thinking Booger something but all I could think about was Booger McFarland. Thanks. I just remember Kennedy turning out to be a pretty good player and wishing we had gotten him.
