We are getting 6 votes in this week's poll - but it really burns me to see TCU (10-0) at #14.

In 2015, coming off an NCAA appearance it was not until we were 15-0 that we came into the top 14 in the AP poll. Right after we beat a ranked Cincy team in January - and we had also destroyed Michigan, Stanford and many others, including TCU, in the process. It took us 15 consecutive wins to start they year to get that high in the poll.

Bar is evidently much lower for TCU...I guess beating us and Nevada must get you that kind of respect.

One of my favorite ways to look at where a team really is is by using the Recent ranking on Sagarin. Here's the definition: "The RECENT, is score-based and weights RECENT play more heavily than earlier games. Its effect will become more pronounced the longer a season goes if a given team happens to have an upward or downward trend."

We are absolutely trending upwards with both the gelling of the team as a whole as well as the very recent addition of McMurray. Our Sagarin Recent ranking is now #14.
