Re: New Staff
He is not going to be a coach but in another capacity.
Re: New StaffLooking forward to this big visit weekend.
Re: New StaffWould be nice to get Chris Scott Jr a space
Re: New StaffNIU was 11th in third down D. Where did we rank? Seems like we had a great 1st and 2nd down D this year and always gave up 3rd down.
Re: New StaffNIU BEAT NEBRASKA, last season ! Probably could not have found anybody any better for us. Excellent choice !
Re: New Staff
Uh Yeah, like ZERO% state income tax in Texas vs. Hellinois at a flat 4.95% of his paycheck The Sun Rises in St. Simons!
Re: New Staff
I love this hire but that is a bad example of what Kane is capable of. We could have beaten the Huskers this season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Re: New Staff
Fair enough. But the titles for the football related positions held by Steve Stigall, Ramon Flanigan, and Albert Veytia don't sound like coaches either. And then there is Truman Carroll. Jeff Jordan is listed under football staff in a topic under the ABOUT icon and may have been (probably was?) at the time I asked as are Stigall and Flanigan. And Carroll in the weight section.
Re: New StaffThe list is not current. Give them time. I am sure it will be updated prior to the next coaching change.

Re: New Stafflooks like a good hire. will he be here this weekend for recruiting?
Re: New StaffExcellent hire. I may be mistaken, but Kane would be the first Defensive Coordinator hired by SMU with prior D1 DC experience since...Collins? I believe every DC since then has been a position coach elevated to the role for the first time.
Coupled with Lashlee, these coordinators are very sharp, young, well-regarded coaches. Says a lot about Sonny's plan to elevate the program here and the resources available to see it through.
Re: New StaffWe got the coaches now get to 'crootin
