Saustad not wanting to play football in college is a real had scratcher. The guy is talented and Shelmire just wants to play somewhere else unfortunately.

Unless a kid thinks he has NFL potential, it is easy to see why a kid would elect to play another sport instead. The (life changing) injury risk from a sport like LAX is well below that of CFB.

And I believe last year no one from HP went to UVa. Competitive lacrosse at a great/cool academic school. Maybe Hopkins is too nerdy or doesn't offer aid like UVa.

These are the kids who truly value educational opportunity.
