Watching the Wichita State Cincinnati game right now on CBS reminds me of sitting on the floor against Louisville when Moody was magic
Wichita is rocking loud!
They said it's a hundred and forty-six decibels which is equivalent to a chainsaw or Rock concert haha.
Will need the nothing was stirring not even a mouse meter at Moody shortly

Larry was the program.......Larry is gone.......ALEX LIFESON wrote:This is just SMU being SMU. The star watch has disappeared from Moody, the Mob is circling the drain, attendance is slowly creeping downward, the product on the court is definitely trending downward... So what is logical for SMU to do? Gouge their loyal customers to the bone... SMU being SMU.

Don’t stop there add Bruno, Vick, and Kapita.

That’s called trying.Pony_Law wrote:Don’t stop there add Bruno, Vick, and Kapita.
Now we just complain that we can’t even practice. Was brining coffee and donuts an ncaa violation that prohibits any kid on campus from practicing with the team a la Courtland Sutton?

Next year is gonna be like LB's first season at Moody. 2500 and plenty of open seats for everyone else. It's genuinely sad.

Won't be that bad but I do think there will be plenty of 3500-4500 games. As long as they are loyal enthusiastic fans, that kind of crowd will still be able to get loud in the new Moody.skyscraper wrote:Next year is gonna be like LB's first season at Moody. 2500 and plenty of open seats for everyone else. LB brought penalties but the two NCAAs and the NIT run were fun.

Dear Men’s Basketball Season Ticket Holders,
Thank you for your ongoing support of our Men’s Basketball Program. With the conclusion of regular season play, we look forward to the American Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Championship starting on March 8, 2018 in Orlando, Florida. We certainly hope to see many of you in Central Florida as we cheer on our Men’s Basketball student-athletes.
We are writing to inform you that, due to a relatively low response rate, the Moody Coliseum Reseat Information Session on March 7, 2018 at 6 p.m. has been cancelled. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We have personally reached out to anyone who RSVP’d to that session to offer face-to-face meetings with one of our staff members in light of not hosting the information session. For those still looking for clarity regarding the reseat, you can RSVP to our final session on March 21, 2018 at 6 p.m. in the Miller Events Center by emailing [email protected].
Thank you for your patience and support of the SMU Mustangs!

There were plenty of 3500-4500 games this year, if you count actual butts in seats. It will only be worse next year. A truly full Moody is the exception nowadays.Charleston Pony wrote:Won't be that bad but I do think there will be plenty of 3500-4500 games. With the seasons results there was no need to do a re-seat. Our bandwagon fans will drop off anyway and that will facilitate accommodating the high dollar donors. My advice, give what you have been giving and you will almost certainly keep your seats.

This clearly shows a lack of understanding about what's going on.mustangxc wrote:With the seasons results there was no need to do a re-seat. The whole point is you can't pay what you've been paying. For pretty much any decent seat, you have to pay MORE and you aren't guaranteed your seats back.

Re: Why is no one talking about the re-seating at Moody?
Question for people. Just talked to a rep. He told me that they are simply reshuffling seats for current donors and that since we have 2 tickets we are guaranteed 2 seats somewhere. We asked about adding 2 tickets and they said the reseat will be done first for only the tickets you have now. After that is done you can call in and try to add 2 tickets but there is no guarantee it will be near your tickets from the reseat. The additional tickets are not tied to your donor ranking.
Can someone confirm this? Sounds very different from what people have described here.

I don't know, based on what I'm comparing here the prices didn't really change:skyscraper wrote:This clearly shows a lack of understanding about what's going on.mustangxc wrote:With the seasons results there was no need to do a re-seat. And then comparing that to the one we were just mailed. It looks like they created a new donation level for 104 (that section did go up). The individual ticket prices for 103 and 105 went down to $500 from $1,100 (donation stayed the same at $1,500. They made the lower levels in 205/203 more expensive donation wise ($1,000 versus $500) but lowered the seat price $100. If you buy four seats, you save $400 in ticket prices and have to spend $500 more in MC donations, so it's sort of a wash. The MC donation increases really don't seem like that much.
Maybe I'm looking at the wrong thing.
**Edit- I was calculating wrong, the donations are per seat. I thought it was per block of four. So the donations did go up more than I thought in some sections.
