Best coaching staff top down post DP and we don't even have our OL coach back yet.

Kinda starting to think we might actually be pretty good. And our best players are all underclassmen except B West and Wyatt (Proche, Moore, Nelson, etc). With probably best class committed on deck.

I'm hopeful this win just might be an actual turning point in SMU football FINALLY returning to respectability. Hate to diminish what JJ was able to accomplish because he did get us to the AAC Championship game and won 3 bowls games, but never did better than 8-5. I really like Sonny's chances of building this program to a level where we might see 9-10 win seasons within just a few years. Four wins was all I really expected this season. Now I think these guys have a really good shot at making a bowl which I thought would be one heck of an accomplishment for Sonny in his 1st year with the schedule we have played. Still a lot of work to do, but these guys are looking better week after week. Hope we have enough healthy bodies to finish strong because 2 road wins will be tough and that final home game will have very little fan support so not much of a home field advantage.
