Re: Other scores of interest
It was a charge but hate seeing officials decide games.
Oh well it's still always enjoyable to see UH coog it.

I like to see good basketball and that was a great defensive play

If the call had not been made then the officials would have decided the game. No question that it was a charge. Had to be called.

TCU loses to Kansas but was in the game all the way. Game was played in Lawrence so maybe TCU will give them a shock when they come into Ft. Worth.

We could have beaten TCU.

This year was definitely the year to do it because Dixon is out recruiting Jank for sure.

I highly doubt we could have beaten them this year.
Going forward without some major changes we will beat them as often in basketball as we do in football,

We led the entire game up until the last few minutes? And we are playing much better now. So I highly doubt is a pretty strong statement...
Going forward, all we need is one nice recruit at guard and we will be competitive against TCU next season.

SMU played a great half and well into the second half as Jason posted. Note that we were
also playing without Jarrey. I felt at the time and still feel that we could have won that game.
We have improved significantly and Jarrey is still in the process of getting back to his normal
skill level.

Re: Other scores of interest
Jarrey played 28 minutes in that game. He scored 2 points on 1-5 FGs had 6 rebounds and 3 assists. While he was not the NBA prospect we are accustomed to he did play.

It was his first game back after a year off. He provided a spark of energy, but despite his minutes, hard to count him as "back" for that game.

Re: Other scores of interest
Thanks for the correction mxc. My bad. Jarrey had actually played against Lamar, McNeese, and Oral Roberts before playing against TCU. In actual days - he had only had playing time for about a week prior to the game with TCU. He wasn't up to his norm yet and if we played now,
I think we could beat them. I think he will continue to get better as the season progresses and
so will our team.

Re: Other scores of interest
While we'll never know whether we would beat TCU with our current roster that is now at full strength we can show improvement against our remaining opponents starting with beating Uconn on the road tonight.
