VIDEO: SMU football head coach Sonny Dykes, running back Xavier Jones and defensive lineman Demerick Gary met the media after the Mustangs beat North Texas, 49-27, to improve to 2-0.

Coach fully appreciates how important attendance and fan support is to build a program. I liked him giving kudos to the students. Pretty strong when over 30% of your undergraduate population comes out to support the team. Engaged students will hopefully translate into more engaged young alumni and hopefully Sonny will be the guy who can build this program to the point where a ticket to Ford is in high demand. Packing Ford on gamedays remains a key to taking recruiting to the next level

Dallas jerseys are cool, but they need to follow up with t-shirts in ther same design. People need yo wear that look around to generate demand.

I agree. Look how quickly Tennessee had those anti-bullying shirts available!

We should have thousands and thousands of SMU fans wearing those shirts in Dallas today!!!

SMU needs to obtain permission to use Dallas’ logo - Dallas allowed SMU to use it on the helmet only
