Absolutely not. It sucks, but it is the reality in the current system. SMU, and the American, are going to have to earn respect, and unfortunately it is going to be a slow process. This season has been a great step for both, and hopefully we continue to build on it.

Aren't we playing against a 10-2 team?

I think we have a better matchup than Cincy does. Playing a 6-6 BC team doesn't exactly float my boat - and that is for the runner up in our conference.
