I know the Frisco Bowl always loves to have SMU!!! Two out of four seasons! They even always have a picture of our poms on their home page so they will be as excited as we are!

I have heard that same rumor, and it makes sense. There are a lot of stories out there suggesting that many of the bowl matchups will be made with the intention of reducing or eliminating long travel. Probably will be a lot of regional matchups like that.

If we aren't going to get another chance at the Boca Raton Bowl trophy then getting both some revenge on Louisiana Tech and that Frisco Bowl trophy sound good to me!

Good measure of where our respective teams have come from that fiasco 3 years ago and I do think La Tech would make a good future opponent for a home/home series (especially if we can't get P5 teams to do home/home with us), much like the Arky State series was (local/regional & competitive)
La Tech getting destroyed by TCU yesterday and falling to 5-4 doesn't exactly add to their appeal for this game. I would think a matchup with 7-4 UTSA would make more sense at this point.
