I found out yesterday that a friend of mine killed herself. We had spent much of last weekend together and she seemed very happy. Obviously the exact opposite was true. I feel lucky that my last contact with her was very positive.
Please, make sure your friends know you care about them. Make sure you reconcile b.s. that doesn't really matter. You may not have that luxury tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that LF68. That is not an easy thing to deal with, but you are right about letting those close to you know that you love them. Not only might they go way too early...but we might also.

LonghornFan68: I extend my sympathy to you on this tragic loss. You are so correct on letting your friends know how much they mean to you. You never know if it may be the last time you see or hear from them.

94: I'm not sure of the source. My wife says it alot. And I hear it quite often during services/classes at Highland Park United Methodist Church.

Sorry to hear about your loss, LH68. I lost someone very close to me almost 30 years ago the same way, and it still hurts today. Don't ever take anyone for granted.

LH68: Same thing happened to a friend of mine about two years ago. Very unexpected. It still haunts me. I don't understand it. I don't know if it helps, but please know we're thinking about you, praying for your friend the family, and we hurt with you.[/img]
