Re: Bowl games of interestHawaii backs out of their bowl game less than 24 hours before kickoff. Memphis flew all that way just for a vacation and practice? https://www.espn.com/college-football/s ... -19-issues
Re: Bowl games of interest
Memphis should at least get the trophy too. Shake It Off Moody
Re: Bowl games of interestI bumped into Tommy Tuberville today. I quizzed him as to his thinking regarding the Cincinnati/Alabama game. He stated of the 22 Cincinnati starters, he recruited 14. Not taking anything away from Luke, but as we know it takes consistent, consecutive recruiting classes to field top ranked teams. I think we are on the cusp ! I hope !
Re: Bowl games of interestAt least Cincinnati made it to the Final Four and they aren't the 1st team to be dominated by Alabama. Will have to pull for Michigan tonight because I really don't care to watch another SEC Title Game rematch
Re: Bowl games of interest
Well, Tuberville is now a senator and we know how well they tell the truth.
Re: Bowl games of interestTW, curious to know correct number of TT recruits that start. I could do a lot of homework to find out, but too lazy
Re: Bowl games of interestRight now, seems like Michigan is waaay over ranked.
Re: Bowl games of interestBama and Georgia making it clear who the two best teams in college football are
Re: Bowl games of interestIf I could push a button and poof! suddenly the Alabama football team was no more, I’d be very tempted to do it. It’s just really tiring seeing the same damned team year in and year out.
Re: Bowl games of interest
Pretty incredible what Saban has been able to accomplish there. I've got a good friend who was born and raised in Birmingham, went to Bama and is a pretty hard core fan. He's well aware of how spoiled they have become and has mentioned that he feels for anyone who comes in to succeed Saban. Thinks they will make a run at Dabo Sweeny when the time comes. That's a program committed to winning and working with almost unlimited resources.
Re: Bowl games of interestplus Tuscaloosa is no Dallas. Amazing they can recruit kids to go there. Interesting that they have a win or else attitude not at all like our 'minions of mediocrity'.
Re: Bowl games of interestAccording to CBS, Alabama athletic revenues totals $143 million a year, more than any NHL teams’ in 2014. It also exceeded 25 of the 30 NBA teams.
