LeVias absolutely. Dickerson, Rote, Berry, Meredith, James, Gregg all are deserving as well as others I'm forgetting. Perhaps like the Hall of Fame we could have plaques in their honor.

Walker and Levi’s are statues. The other deserving past players and coaches could be bronze plaques in an area in the new operations building. Or maybe designate a place in the north end zone that is fenced off similar to Yankee stadium.

Hayden had Texas roots and proud of it. We're the ones who showed him the door. (And ended up with Dave Smith  )

So does Lance, but i don’t want a statue of him pitching the ball to Eric.

This should be a tribute to Jerry and Jerry only. Adding Hayden distracts from that IMO.

Agree except for Eric Dickerson. Definitely statue worthy. As is Payne Stewart. That’s all.

While all mentioned are great athletes. Jerry stands apart for what he experienced on and off the field.
Therefore, he deserves a statue for those reasons. Other Southern universities are erecting statues and naming building of people that endured similar challenges that Jerry had to put up with. Let’s get back to the main issue.

Any talk about expanding or relocating Heritage Hall as part of the new end zone project?

Though the others mentioned are Hall of Fame worthy, what Jerry started, overcame and excelled at puts him in a class by himself.

Aye, this^^

Lots of politics in coaching, and especially in the old SWC old-guard administrators. Any change came SLOWLY and at a price. I don't begrudge Fry's success at NTSU or Iowa. We deserved a dope-slap for cutting him loose.
