Candidate for women's soccer coach

Would love to see SMU bring back Alan Kirkup. He had the team among the nation's best when he was the coach years ago, and he's still coaching.

Alan is a great guy who did a very good job at SMU. But that was almost 30 years ago.
I think it is time for a younger man or woman with great club connections that can recruit very good players to SMU>

I'm on board with young and well connected recruiters ... but if SMU chooses to go that route, we could do a lot worse than Kirkup. Larry Brown was old when SMU hired him, too. Alan has been an outstanding coach for a long time.
