It's a good thing when the strength and conditioning coach is happy with where the team is at right now and guys are talking about having come back to address "unfinished business"

One thing that really bothers me about SMU lately in general is like ok, "unfinished business". What does that mean specifically? I just want someone, anyone to say "our goal is to win the AAC and destroy Houston". No more "compete for championships" talk pleaaase.

Is setting the bar high then failing frowned upon severely at SMU?

Our guys probably have the toughest schedule of any AAC team this year but the goal of playing your best football in November has to be # 1. Noted his comment about there might be 15 teams in the country that do that as they are generally the ones competing for championships
