Anyone have relatively recent updates regarding the expansion and enhancement of Ford Stadium, in terms of design details and timing of commencing construction?

You're probably right. Garry Weber donated $50mil and the goal was $100mil for the entire project. The plan was to have enough funds by the end of 2022 to break ground in early-mid 2023.

Latest construction news is that the outdoor pool is in work

I saw a survey crew in the endzone taking shots a few weeks back. I assume the work won't start until after this football season.
