Even though we are still really banged up, I just can't pick against us at home, even though its the Meerkats. We're going to have to score points early and convert all of our red zone opportunities into TD's. If we do that:

The last couple of times we have played Cincy, our players have dropped a full load in their pant's....as soon as the big bad scary bullies take the field. I'm really not feeling it, but, in true homer fashion, I'm going to pick the Ponies, to finally put their big boy pants on and take down the tough guys in black....34-31. If we don't pull this off, SMU will be 3-4, with AAC Championship goals and dreams... all but gone down the drain. That means, we would need to win 4 out of our 5 remaining games to squeak out a disappointing 7-5 winning season, or, 3 of 5, just to be bowl eligible at 6-6. This season is a Far Cry, from what was expected and all of the preseason buzz and hype, is all but a distant memory. Much of that can be changed though, with One Little Victory tomorrow.

So you're saying there's a Ghost of a Chance that Tanner could be a Cinderella Man tomorrow? I'm praying you are correct, and I dig the references.

In our current Circumstances, we have to remember, this season is a Marathon and our Mission is to win as many games as possible. Much respect! lol

The injuries are going to have an impact in this game. If our defense can force them into passing situations, we can win. Their OL struggles to pass protect, and we can take advantage of that. But I thought that about UCF as well, and their QB burned us. Their top corner is going to lock a half speed Rice out of the game, so RJ Maryland, Kerley, Dixon, Goffney, and Daniels are going to need to step up again, and I just haven't seen any of them beat top tier competition yet. We have also really struggled with turnovers against the better teams.

SMU CAN win this game. But until we play a clean game against a good team, I would have to put this at 35-27 Cincy.
