Re: Aggie PJ Williams Commits to SMUGreat news for sure!!!
Re: Aggie PJ Williams Commits to SMUWe've been recruiting "well" for a few years now. At this point I don't care about recruiting. I want on field results.
Re: Aggie PJ Williams Commits to SMU"SMU boasts a Top 5 transfer portal recruiting class. Williams is the No. 16 offensive tackle in the transfer portal rankings from On3."
It appears we're "doing it" as my freshman dorm RA wrote in his Introduction to SMU guide..
Re: Aggie PJ Williams Commits to SMUThread title is wrong. Should be
FORMER Aggie PJ Williams commits to SMU Plagiarize!
Let no one else's work evade your eyes. Remember why the good lord made your eyes. So don't shade your eyes, just Plagiarize, plagiarize, plagiarize! (Only be sure always to call it, please .... "research.")
Re: Aggie PJ Williams Commits to SMU
One could argue that the overall trend of wins/losses is ahead of overall trend of recruiting.
Re: Aggie PJ Williams Commits to SMUExcellent question, will Lashlee and company be ready if he does? I know from personal experience that drugs can be very disruptive.
Re: Aggie PJ Williams Commits to SMUWhy is Williams not in the defensive side of the ball? He’d be killer with that wingspan.
Re: Aggie PJ Williams Commits to SMU
And even more of a killer at tackle. He doesn't have ideal height for tackle (only 6'4), but his wingspan is awesome, he uses leverage really well, he has fantastic drive in his legs and he is really athletic for a lineman. Keeps his balance really well. He is just a great athlete playing OL. I'm sure he is still adding weight to his frame, and will be in a backup role next year because of it, but we have not had anyone with elite potential at OT since the death penalty. Beachum was great after he grew into his frame, but he wasn't as athletic at this guy. We need to see it on the field, obviously, but the potential is there, and the fundamentals are really good. This isn't a large project like Ike.
Re: Aggie PJ Williams Commits to SMUA little premature to be declaring a depth chart before these guys even work out with the team. Last year, some pegged Bissinger and Condon as automatic starters, but was a backup for much of the season and Condon ended up on the bench.
Forgot about Ike. No longer on the roster.
