By '66-67 the 'Boys were a playoff team and wore white. I think they started wearing white pretty early on in the franchise's history. I remember going to games in the early 60's and watching the Giants, Skins, Eagles, Browns, Cardinals, etc...coming to Dallas to play in the Cotton Bowl wearing their familiar colors. That was part of Tex Schramm's marketing plan to garner interest in the program because they stunk so bad in those early years.
