I'll have to agree, with a 9th as a bowl win...

With the competition we play - 8 wins, is not a good sign. OK, Oklahoma and I think we can beat anyone on our schedule. OK, drink the punch a little.

If Coach Lashley and Symons have these guys together? We have depth now, maybe for the first time since the 80's.

We will see.

Go Mustangs.

ECU, FAU, Memphis, Tulsa, UAB, and UTSA each have 2 conference titles since 2000. Rice, Temple, and Tulane have 1 title. Charlotte, Navy, SMU, UNT and USF have no titles in this century. Let's hope that changes this year with the depth we expect to have and UCF and Cincy being gone.

We will be good this season. However, the noncon schedule is tough. Odiferous
rank smelling frogs and land thieves. Tough competition. This team needs some
time to gel. There will be setbacks. Expectations should be tempered with reality.
2024 is going to be special though.

The schedule will never be weaker, 8-4 would be a massive disappointment.

ECU and Memphis are no gimme's on the road. And Navy and Tulsa are always tough wins, even at home. Just being realistic, anything could happen.

With this schedule, and the team the coaches have brought in, we should be at least 10-2.

Anything less than 9-3 and I would think it is an epic failure.

I'll go out on the ice and call a 10 win season now. Team talent is unquestionable. It comes down to cleanliness of execution, health and what someone else said in an earlier post ... there are a lot of new pieces and for anyone who has played a team sport you know it takes time to gel. Win the American and see what happens. Hope everyone is having a great summer. #ponyup

I would agree but for the fact we are going to rely on a couple of "rookie" QBs to make it happen. We should find out right away in Norman whether they are up to the task

Yep, the QB play, lack of injuries, and the OL run blocking, lead the list of need for success in this season IMO. If we succeed in those areas, we should be good.

Hmmm...just wondering which four games do you think we'll lose?
